| Alabar Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival Where: Bathurst Showground, Kendall Avenue When: 17th March 2010 - 27th March 2010 Contact: 02 6333 5000 - is a major annual event on the harness racing calendar, attracting owners, trainers, horses and drivers from Australia and New Zealand. This year’s carnival covers 10 days of racing and social events with trackside entertainment, a welcome function, trackside marquee, Gold Crown Golf Day at Bathurst Golf Club, Mayor’s Honouree Dinner at the RSL Club, Gold Crown Ball at Bathurst Panthers and 6 race meetings. |
| Visual Navigation Trial When: 19th March 2010 Time: 6pm for 6.30pm Contact: 02 6337 1355 – the event is based on rally events from the ‘60s where competitors would navigate a course with a set of instructions. BLCC has brought the event into 2010 and allows GPS etc. to help competitors complete the course. The event is approx 120km in distance and takes about 2 hours. No CAMS licence required.
