The Lagoon Public School established in 1858 and set on the current site in 1895. The Lagoon Public School is a small rural school with strong heritage links to the local community. The school has strong supporting school, student, family and community partnerships. The school fosters happy self confident students who value citizenship and display a real sense of community spirit. We provide vibrant and responsive educational programs for all students. We aim to develop and nuture well educated, capable and consistent citizens for the 21st century by providing opportunities for all students to participate and contribute to contextual and community based learning experiences. We promote opportunities for development of students self confidence and skills through participation and contribution to educational interests, events, enrichment and extension programs.
