NEW DVD CAPTURES LOCAL MUSICIANS IN FULL FLIGHT

October 8, 2007

Glory BoxA DVD showing some of the Bathurst region’s finest musicians in full flight is now available at Stop n’ Rock in William Street Bathurst.

The DVD captures the brilliant performances at the Ponton Theatre in August 2005 at the launch of WARP TV.

This eagerly awaited DVD stars Glory Box, Stormy Deep, Matthew Williamson, Steve Rutherford and Mark McLaughlan, Toni Farlow, Andrew McLeod, Emlyn’s Harp, Michelle Stockwell and the Rev. Billy Brown and the Altar Boys.

The concert, to a standing-room only crowd, was organised by Ross McDonald. The masters of ceremonies were Tracy Sorensen and John Merkel with special guest John Kerrison (then the Prime TV newsreader). The set was designed and built by Josh Bush, with video projections by Nick Prusiak, Christian Prusiak and Tom Bannigan.

WARP TV is a non-profit incorporated networking group for film and video makers in the Bathurst region. WARP TV has compiled over 13 hours of television programs broadcast on community television station TVS (Channel 31) in Sydney and on the Optus B satellite.
